North Myrtle Beach

North Myrtle Beach was created more than 30 years ago when the communities of Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, and Cherry Grove came together as one. Each of these communities has its own appeal and charm, as generations of vacationers who return to the area year after year.

North Myrtle Beach’s accommodations include everything from rustic beach cottages and Mom-and-Pop motels to luxury resorts. The city has nearly 11,000 residents and is also home to many fine restaurants and family amusements. Of course, you can’t describe North Myrtle Beach without mentioning the shag, a dance that originated here and continues to thrive in local dance clubs and at annual shag reunions.

Little River

Once a quaint fishing village, Little River lies on the border of the Carolinas and is home to the annual Blue Crab Festival in May and Shrimp Festival in early October. On the waterfront you'll also find appetizing fare at local seafood restaurants, several unique shops, and a fleet of fishing boats ready to take you on an exciting outing to the Gulf Stream. Several golf courses including River Hills Golf and Country Club, Heather Glen, and Glen Dornoch are found in Little River. Marinas including the Cricket Cove Marina, Mariner's Pointe, Lightkeepers Marina and the North Myrtle Beach Marina provide boating enthusiasts with all their boating needs.
